Why hurt someone who's only intention was to love you?

Because sometimes you hurt someone unintentionally, that can mean you don't care enough to think about how your actions would effect that person

Some people have baggage that can be too heavy a burden, and they crack under the weight... and sometimes they hurt people in the process.

Sometimes it is circumstantial.
Sometimes it is intentional.
Love on its own is usually never enough.

Sometimes love can be more obsessive or stalkish. Just because someone loves you, doesn't mean that love is good and healthy for you. Sometimes you've got to be firm but clear to that person to leave you alone.
