There are 4 ideas I have.
Kinky. Cut it all off, have it made into a wig. Superglue it on your guys head so he learns what you put up with so you look good to him. Plus you can have it back someday when you feel like chopping off his head.
Standard. Lay on the bed more. Give your neck more rest.
Scarey. Take pain killers. Or find a distracting addiction. Like getting constant neck rubs from your guy. So you don't think about your neck so much.
Macabre. This one I won't mention because you might lose your head.
Dye it a lighter color.
