Does all the potential for your World come from within you?

I mean everybody has their difficulties some people are born into poverty, some people don't have any friends etc.

It's hard to take responsibility and life is incredibly difficult.. with people having different ideals, beliefs and sometimes they want to walk on others because they're jealous of the substance in their character that they'll never have as they are not willing to sacrifice.

In a World of corporate whores, liars and the morally bankrupt why is it so hard to have a different dress sense? A different way we conduct ourselves? Something that comes from within yet we find ourselves compromising with it to suit the people that never gave us anything.
