Most people I come across want validation. They do not want to actually change anything about themselves and/or their situation.
Thus, they get angry at warranted commentary that does not match their needs and wants.

Their reaction to it is no one else's problem, that's for sure.

I value an honest opinion. I don't want anyone to not tell me what they really think. I might get annoyed if someone gives me there advice without me haveing asked for it but I can usually tell when someone is trying to help.
