Is anybody else's musical taste like this?

I love classic rock but there are some classic rock bands I do not like. I like Styx, Journey, Boston, and Foreigner but I do not like REO Speedwagon or The Police. Another case similar is I like The Beatles and Buddy Holly but I don't like Elvis. Does anybody else have a favorite genre but have some artists in your favorite genre that you don't like?

I don't like Elvis either.

I do respect him because I know he was big during his time but I myself don't care for his music.

@storykid: I don't. He got paid because he was a novelty---as Colonel Parker said, "a white kid replicating R&B for mainstream consumption". Eminem did the same thing for rap.

Even though I respect Elvis I don't consider him to be the king of rock and roll. In my opinion Chuck Berry is the king of rock and roll.
