How many people know about 1000 and 500 rupees currency of India is no more?

Sure, I heard when that happened - it seems like a really smart move to me. The same thing got done in the US back in the '30s, withdrawing the $10000 and $100000 bills and restricting the $1000 bills, to make it harder to bribe cops & judges, and for Prohibition gangsters to carry their wealth around

Just in case you didn't know
More than 95℅of the black money is stashed overseas
And whatever we have in India is in the form of gold and real estate
And people who had cash have already arranged things
And it has nothing to do with corruption
