Is your kindness and common courtesy ever mistaken for interest of a different kind?

Yes but not really coming on to them more just being a decent human being makes them think I want them romantically. Kindness does not equal I want to jump your bones. Although it does make me wonder if people are so used to being treated unkindly that they see any sort of kindness as more. That is a sad state of affairs.
