Did you make a statement at your graduation?

I never did I just wore my cap and gown and walked up and got my diploma . I have heard lot of graduates made a statement last week.

It wasn't even an option. I remember all of us students sitting in metal foldup chairs and we all just sat there in the cap and gowns as they called each student up, they would be handed a rolled up and tied piece of paper, shake hands with some guy up on stage and back to their seat.

Then something was said from the person at the microphone and we all threw our caps into the air, then a lined formed by these doors where they were handing out the actual diploma book with the diploma in it.

And that was allllllllllllllllllllllllll the way back from 1995. I heard now students are allowed to keep their caps and gowns. Even if they let me keep mine, what on earth would I do with it??
