They're sweet, but mother goose not so much!
I made the mistake of trying to pet a gosling at a zoo one time. The little guy squeaked and ran for his life, as mama hissed and ran me down.
She was too close to begin with, taking all I had to outrun her. I slipped in mud and barely cleared the small ditch, where she finally gave up 2 ft behind.
