Do you feel my grandpa said the right thing to me or he was being a bit harsh?

Back in 2017, after I just got into 12th grade, we went to our native Siliguri and Falakata. One day in Falakata, me and my grandpa went for walk to Jadabpally area and also the market area. But when I go to Falakata I become very childish because of vacation mood. I was 16 that time but acting as if I was 6. I was literally jumping while walking with him and asking almost trying run and asking my grandpa to have a race with me and also singing songs loudly on road. My grandpa was saying me to stop or else people would think I am insane or have some mental problems. But even after he said me to stop I still did the same. Then he literally asked me 'Tor mathae ki gobor thasha naki?' which means 'Is your head/brain filled with cow dung or what?' in Bengali. I laughed tho when he said that. Some old men around were laughing and asked my grandpa whether I was his grandson or what. He said in Bengali 'yes he is my naughty grandson. He is 16 and has only grown physically but he still acts like how he used to act 10 years ago.' My grandpa still calls me mastaan which is another meaning of 'crazy person' in Bengali.
