"How are you feeling?" Zoe asked me as we sat across from each other ober lunch. Warm beacons of sunlight shone through the windows, and reflected off the bundles of herbs, the drums, feathers, and rattles hanging from the rafters.

"I'm well considering the emotional turmoil my husband has been putting me through." I said to her. I, of course, was referring to the silence and distance Robert was inflicting on me. I felt all alone in my home, my marriage, my life. I felt as though I don't even exist. Sometimes I even feel as though Zoe doesn't see or hear me.
