Do you ever feel like our dystopia is badly written?

Orwell had thought police and personalised torture chambers.

Heller had maddening bureaucracy leading to only irrational people being in charge.

Kafka had a courtroom with deliberately obfuscated rules and opaque processes.

We have the people in power doing evil things then... erm... just saying "I didn't do it you did it."

This is literally schoolyard level behaviour and they're getting away with it.
