I hope I didn't make my friend mad when I strongly suggested she edit her personal essay.
But there were simple misspellings that if she just went over it, then it would be fixed. Am I a bad person?

Spell check would've done it for her anyway.

When I opened the document on my word processor it caught all of the spelling errors. I'm not sure how she missed them. :0|

@badazzbasicbich: Must've been using a typewriter.

I don't think so. I mean, it's what I would have done.

I mean she wants it to be good, right?
SW User
I guess. She's not going to show it to anyone else.

Oh like it's a personal essay just for herself? Not a "personal essay" that colleges and employers sometimes make you write?

Eh, she should still edit it, it'll be good practice.

@KingofPizza: Yus, and I agree.

uh oh grammar nazi!!!😱

Did she ask you to review it?
SW User
I asked to read some of her stories and she gave me that one. I gave my opinion of it and I mention that a light edit would be helpful with the small easy mistakes.
Nope, unless your friend is hypersensitive. I'm so grammar obsessed that all my friend send their essays to me so that I proofread it lmao
