Do you believe in 12th chances?

I believe to be forgiven by a guy only 3 times, and then no more hiding secrets, even if it makes him angry or disappointed. In the end if I have confidence in me, why do I have to hide? For sure if others ask me any question and I reply honestly, they will go and tell him that I don't know how to lie, because if I lied I get caught.
