Why is it that when you walk into a medical facility for health issues they always wanna make sure you spend as much as possible?

Their financial health issues are also of paramount importance to them. Plus, depending where you are, they probably figure they're just going to soak your insurance provider rather than you directly.

Yeah once they see there is a good insurance provider their eyes light up and all the options start raining at you Lol

Heh, exactly. They know the insurance companies have way more money than you do.

its a profit-driven model of medicine in the US, hence, profit-maximisation. You really don't run into this attitude in countries with more rational healthcare delivery systems.

they probably want to make sure they at least offer you everything in their arsenal so you can't turn around and sue for malpractice if/when you reject it.

Because its their business to maximise on their takings.
