Why are there so many immigrants in america?

I don't have a problem with legal immigrants, just the illegal ones. I live in Commiefornia which has the most. They can give free healthcare, housing, college, welfare, food stamps, but can't help Veterans?

Cause it's a country of immigrants from the first beginning

Because natives who had lived the land, spawned generations before, hunted and lived in peace til one went: [i]"....yknow, we could really use some war and disease to liven the place up"[/i]

Because it's a "first world country", better financially than others (than those that immigrants come from), in some cases with better laws too.

Was pretty empty once we wiped out the natives.

Many come here to make their lives better for themselves and families. Others see the country as their free meal ticket thanks to the scumbags we refer to as politicians, who'd tell anybody anything FOR A VOTE.

Because it is able to attract them

Because it involves a rise in economic growth (GDP)

And relatively high immigration is a policy both parties support

People are under the impression that good jobs are just waiting to be plucked from a tree, even for those with no experience.
