Will you ever have your answers?

Will anyone ever be direct with you enough that you won't have to second guess anything anymore? Will you ever have a concrete answer? The truth is black and white. Truth is never gray. So, will you ever have the truth?
Sapio · 46-50, M
There's a certain depth of mind those possess who seek the truth. But no one can ever give you something so concrete that you'll never second guess it. For like each tree, even of the same type/species we grow and develop individually. Our belief system derives from our tender years and our childhood experiences. And no matter how close we were to our siblings or best, we still have differences of opinion.

@Sapio Perception is reality...
nope. but the key for me it to just not really care.
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
I find truth everywhere, especially when I'm patient.
The question I always wonder though is, when the truth is presented, will people believe it?
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@rottenrobi Good point.

I'm often doubtful... being direct seems to be difficult for a lot of people. I want so much to believe people, but time and time again I'm deceived or misled.

Does not seem likely at this point

Ideally there is black & white. Reality (and human nature... Judgement/justification/rationalization and that everyone is unique introduce a world of color (or grey, but semantics...))

Maybe truth is really subjective.

@SW-User I had a dream about that last night. Maybe I heard something on tv while I was sleeping. But, I believe truth is black and white, not subjective. Perception is different than truth.

@perceptivei I hear what you are saying. I am saying that as we walk through this thing called life, we all experience different variables. If it is absolute truth one is seeking, I am not sure you find it here.

I am blessed
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@SW-User I bet you are.

@perceptivei God is truth
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@SW-User I understand, but I'm referring to earthly things. It's definitely not Godly. None of it is. It's the complete opposite of anything good and true and wholesome. It's the complete opposite. I still find myself seeking answers to worldly problems, because they're not going away as hard as I try to ignore them or repress them. They constantly remind me. It's nothing pure or kind or loving. I wish I could continue to ignore it, but they don't want me to get better.
