Do you love your half sibling as much as your full sibling?

I don't mean step sibling that's a whole other category. Do you love your half sibling that you share at least one parent with as much as a sibling you share with both parents?

I didn't even know she was my half sister until my parents' divorce let the cat out of the bag last year. We grew up in the same house. Of course I love her the same. She's actually the one I am closest with.

@RadiantRuby Indeed. She's the youngest. My mom had an affair, my parents didn't split, and my dad just raised her as his own. Us kids never knew and it didn't really make much difference for us to find out.

Ive only met one of them once.My twin sisters are married and have kids.
One has 9, the other has 2.
I dont know them as well considering I wasnt born until they were in their late teens to early 20's.I dont even know how old they are but they're close to 40 now.

I’m sorry to answer this question slightly different than was requested. But I have two siblings both by marriage. One I don’t talk to at all. The other is my best friend. I don’t consider one family at all. The other I’ve never looked at as less than. For myself genetics or last names don’t make family. It’s not the people you just tolerate because of a title but those you truly want around. They’re loyal and care about you. 🤍
