Why do people judge others based on looks?

I was some how born with genetics that causes me to never judge others on looks! I only judge based attitude and hygiene which both can be controlled, but to hate or look down on someone based on something they can not control is mind boggling to me!

I don't ever judge on looks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, I do judge on hygiene. At the risk of making me sound like a horrible person, soap and water are both fairly cheap. There is no reason why a person shouldn't shower regularly. I have very little tolerance when walking by someone only to smell ass funk!
