Does anyone tried to put you down when you're trying to reach your goal?

Keep things to yourself, people ruin nice things.

I had a lot of people jealous of me coming up
I was told I would never amount to anything ,but I proved them wrong
I have had men set me up to fail ,but I was pretty arrogant ,a little on the cocky side ,I have been knocked down to the bottom and had to start over many times ..but in no time ,,I am the boss and the ones who tried to hurt me
end up working for me .
But I have been doing a mans job since I was 13
I was the youngest man in the entire armed forces when I joined the service
Its rare to see a recruit that just turned 17 weeks before boot camp
but I passed the entrance exam when I was 16 and was on the delayed enlistment program
But I married at 16 too ,was a Dad at 19 ,,so what others thought of me
didn't matter ,I had a family counting on me ,I was not about to let them down
I am working to support them ,not make friends ,I do that on my own time .
And lots of people telling me what I couldn't do ,I learned to ignore them
I have been a star ,ran my own construction company
Worked on and ran locomotives and ships ,built homes for some of the richest men in America ,,and I quit school in the 10th grade
It was to hard working full time and going to school
I had major surgery on my spine on my 30th birthday .part of my spine was removed ,,but I refused to quit
People will always tell you what you can't do ,and out of jealousy even try to sabotage you're success
I use those people as fuel ,,,when I want to quit
I remember all the ones who said "You can't "
and I make liars out of them ,,,"Yes I can "
The quickest way to watch me do something ,,is to tell me I can't
or to try and get in my way ,,

Oh yeah a few times... i acted like it didn't bother me when it did and it set me back a bit but got there in the end.
