Yes but because of the people not the site, the technology in this site is actually superior to EP but EP had more people, they were especially at first more serious minded, more of them communicated in long form communications in groups rather than short comments in the Q&A and the site itself was more concerned with privacy than this site.

@Warda Armen Berjikly the creator of the site gave a TED talk about EP, he said he created a site as a multiple sclerosis support site for a close friend. The relationships that formed between people who understood each other through the shared experience of having multiple sclerosis was very helpful to people so he extended the idea. He started the Experience Project for people with other similar experiences.
He closed it because of the difficulties maintaining user privacy in the face of increasing governmental powers, challenges complying with new data privacy laws, and general online trends that were moving away from long-form content.
