Seems like every person I meet has tattoos and that’s the norm. Are tattoos the norm nowadays? I don’t have any

SW-User
I have several so they are the norm for me

I don't have any either. My doctor friend posted an interesting article on them and why they should be researched more and potentially avoided.

But lots get them and all I ask of people is to get the organic ink. Their body, their choice.

@Peaceful yes I was told the ink is harmful too growing up.

yes thats why we have to tatts to be normal,🙄
MrAboo · 36-40, M
@english I was just wondering. The answers to the post won’t dictate me getting one. I do t want them but I can ask questions

I don't have any. I don't see a point in covering myself with permanent ink
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@MrAboo right, definitely in the years to come. I'm sure I wouldn't like what I got today..

my coworkers were talking about them and one wants to get a tattoo about gaming. I just couldn’t imagine wanting a permanent caricature on my body that reminded me of anything.

I have some scars on my skin and those I am proud of. But no ink involved

@MrAboo right, anything I can think of that I'd potentially like as a tattoo, I could easily get on a shirt, bracelet, necklace etc...
It's a form of self expression. Not having a tattoo is also a way to express yourself. I don't think either is "normal".

I also think using the term "normal" is a bit loaded these days.

It seems to be the norm these days. Recently I was at the beach and young and old mostly all had at least one.

To each, there own but for years I have often thought and researched ways to remove them. Many doctors have. I would be a billionaire. Yes there are procedures available today but just not there yet. Scientific research proves that many have regrets.
Oster1 · M
@MrAboo Yes Sir, I would say both are common.
MrAboo · 36-40, M
@Oster1 fair enough. I was certainly taught that if I got a tattoo i may regret it later on; and getting one that was visible could make it hard to get a job later on

@MrAboo I could not agree more with you:)

A Ferrari doesn’t need bumper stickers.

Looks that way
They're the norm in my world. But a lot of people never get one.
[c=#359E00]i don't understand why people need tattoo[/c]

Not the norm round here
MrAboo · 36-40, M
@SW-User definitely the norm for lower class where I’m at
Synyster · 51-55, M
It's just gotten more popular.
FloridaGuy · 46-50, M
Tats are for normies. Yes.
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
I don't have any.

It's way more normal than it was in the past. I would say that it is normal but, so is interracial dating, smoking marijuana, divorce, same sex marriage, atheism. Times do change.
