5. The "blitzkreig" or lightning war. Hitler eschewed the trench warfare of WW1. I don't know where Hitlter studied war tactics....

Bonus: Yes, both my grandfathers served. One was a medic in the European theater, the other a tailgunner in the Pacific theater.

America entered the war in 43 but I think it started in 37 or 38 i know it ended in 45
