Pacific Grove/Monterey Ca. At sunset the beach was beautiful beyond belief washed over by a palatte of pastels, the waves aglow like neon (caused by a seasonal kind of plankton) they were lit up like white and blue day glo under a blacklight. It was incredible.

Crossing the Colorado-Wyoming boarder at midnight during a summer night as you approach Cheyenne. You can see billions of stars in the sky, yet still see the lights of the city on the horizon for miles and miles. Quite pretty really.

It has to be Las Vegas. I know its false, shallow and Hokey. But the place is a fairground at night.
