There's a stigma that the older one is a creepy pervert and the young one is either naive or money hungry.
There are genuine love relationships between people with huge age gaps but there are also many insincere ones which isn't anybodies buisness except imagine your child being in a relationship with someone your age or your parent with money in the bank dating someone your age... Not only does it disturb the family but there are a whole pile of other concerns that go with it.
Imagine your last surviving parent passing away and you getting nothing because they married some young person whose now living in your family home and living off your family money how heartbreaking that is

its not a crime but it is in very bad taste to date someone more than 10 years apart. I would not associate or even do business with such a person due to "guilt by association".
