Any of your favourite dialogue of a movie?

Pherick · 41-45, M
The ending of the St. Crispin's Day speech from any of the movie versions of Shakespeare's Henry V.
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
@Pherick That’s my absolute favorite. And it’s why I love Kenneth Branagh, who made Shakespeare accessible to lots of people who didn’t think they’d be interested.

@bijouxbroussard Indeed! He has been in a ton of Shakespeare movies, either real movies of the plays or adaptations of plays.

Pretty amazing really.

"It was very difficult. I should never have known how ladies and gentlemen really behaved, if it hadn't been for Colonel Pickering. He always showed what he thought and felt about me as if I were something better than a common flower girl. You see, Mrs. Higgins, apart from the things one can pick up, the difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves, but how she is treated. I shall always be a common flower girl to Professor Higgins, because he always treats me like a common flower girl, and always will. But I know that I shall always be a lady to Colonel Pickering, because he always treats me like a lady, and always will."

Why the big secret? People are smart, they can handle it.

Kay:
A *person* is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it.

Rick: How can you close me up? On what grounds?
Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
[a croupier hands Renault a pile of money]
Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Renault: Oh, thank you very much.

Actually I love the movie Dolores Claiborne. Hard working woman
played by Kathy Bates. Great quote: Sometimes being a bitch is all a woman got to hang on to.

When Richard Gere’s character screams “I’ve got nowhere else to go!”

That always resonates with me.
