My opinion, the brand is secondary to the contractor putting it in. All of the major mfgs make decent equipment but the local installer makes or breaks the job. Installation takes proper duct sizing, unit sizing, line set sizing and evacuation, tstat placement and programming....etc. Trane, York, Carrier are all good. Pick the local contractor with the best reputation IMHO and you can’t gonwrong. @Stereoguy
