Can anyone here younger than about 28-30 tell me why people around your age respond to almost everything with "huh?"

Even if the statement or question was completely easy to understand
SW-User
Fuck, I turn 28 near the end of this year so I gotta answer this question, huh?
SW-User
It's the limit of their english
SW-User
it's most likely because they don't agree or see sense in it
SW-User
I can’t tell because I don’t do it.

Seen this with a guy at work; when he didn't want to do what you asked of him he did 'huh?' He used to do it to his boss all the time and she knew that what would ensue was a proper 'teeth pulling exercise' to get him to do it or if you were in a hurry, do it yourself.

I was never that limited in my comprehension or communication skills even at 12 so I couldn’t tell you. I think some say it when someone posts incomprehensible nonsense to question wtf...? Not because they don’t understand .

It means i'm comfortable enough to not be formal with you and say "sorry, i didn't hear what you said, can you repeat that?" And that i legit didn't hear what you said.

I only do that when I really don't understand something and that's no more than the average person 🤷‍♀️

texting culture... 3 letter words and acronyms for made up words are the limit of their vocabulary... 😅
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
I wanted to say "huh?" but many people already did. 🤷‍♂️
SW-User
Because they are dumb. 😂

LostGuy · 26-30, M
