Do you hate you mother?

I don't hate her. It's just I have nothing to do with her. She was a horrible mother. Verbal and physical abuse from her all the time. My first ever memory is of her beating me when I was about 2 years old. And my grandmother stopped her. This carried on until I was 14 and decided I'd had enough! So I turned round and kicked her. And I still to this day regret that. I lowered myself to her level.
I left home when I was 16, went back for a couple of months when I was 18 and never seen her again. I have to respect her as she gave birth to me. But I really don't like her at all

Hate? No. But she is extremely critical about everything I say and do, so I can't say that I enjoy spending time with her. I walk away emotionally exhausted.
