I really don't care about customer connections

Just tell me your order, give me your money,take your food and go. I'm not trying to be your best friend. My boss keeps pushing customer connections and I could care less. Don't get me wrong I'm polite to everyone but I'm not going out of my way to kiss your feet.

Forming customer connections aren't about a genuine connection. It's all about money, right? Be friendly, welcoming, accommodating and people are more likely to come back in future and spend more money there. It's not about how you think and feel, you're a tool for that establishment so the owners make more money.

@SW-User That's fair. They'll always ask more of you in the service industry no matter what you do. That was my experience of it any way.

that’s how it goes in fast food restaurants, you’re expected to give the best services to customers while being paid like shit. I would say change your job cause your boss isn’t going to pity you

Waitress staff that lingeries and are over attentive bug me , yes , if I have problem I will bring it to there attention , but otherwise , I’m good
