How do I avoid feeling Disassociated?

I've been pondering this over the last several days. I wish I had answers.
I'd like to feel something more than obligation, annoyance and sadness.
I have been told I need to try seeing everything as something exciting and new! That, maybe in time I will start to actually feel the feeling associated with the ideas. The whole, fake it till you make it idea.
So far its not done anything at all for me. But maybe you are different.

@nonsensiclesnail I'm sorry. I think i'm going to try some meditation and try to consciously make myself feel my surrounding and take them in.. I'll talk to people help build and feel some sort of friendly connection.. and see if it helps

You need to repeat whatever makes you disassociate in a safe environment until it no longer makes you disassociate.

I focus on other things instead. Do things that make you feel good.
