What’s one responsibility you really wish you didn’t have ?

to always be the voice of reason
I hate always being the one pointing out the dangers
I get everyone just wants to have a good time and not worry about such things
But I have buried and tried to save enough people who had no fore site
It sucks always being the one that see's a train wreck coming
and no one wants to listen ,,until they are wanting me to fix their screw ups
and try to save their loved ones ..
I am not going to be here forever
Its time someone else has to grow up too,,
They say you don't miss what you never had
Thats not true ,I would have loved to had just been a normal kid
no responsibilities ,,,but I guess it was never in the stars
Someone had to act like an adult ,,no one else was

all the people who would have died had I just said to hell with it
I am going to be like everyone else ,I need to cut lose and have fun too
Why should I put my life in harms way ? I tried to warn them
instead of the one always saving them ,and cleaning up their messes

I don’t mind having responsibilities, I just wish I didn’t have to be responsible for *everything* that happens around me.

Paying the mortgage. It would be nice to have someone else pay it, or at least half.

Looking after my inner child. She’s a handful.
