Do people actually win gift cards for filling out surveys?

You know, the ones in the end if the receipt? 🤔

Let me tell you about filling out "surveys". When you do that you are just giving out your personal information and people who want to pay for that personal information can easily obtain it for a small fee. Keep your personal info to yourself and don't fall for the "free stuff for filling out surveys" crap

@Xena1234 i can believe that. I was told by my manager that when they ask for your phone number at the end of a transaction that it's also for marketing, and not just to help with the return process

Years ago, before online, I used to fill out surveys by mail. I knew better than to give out my real birth date. Guess what? That fake birth date is online in some of those "Pay for personal information of others sites"🤣

@iamnikki I won a $50 gift card at Walmart. My hubby won $2,000 from a grocery store called AGI (he had to drive about a hour to pick it up) and then he won $600 at a new Winco in town. I'm not complaining. I just wish he'd win that HGTV house, car and money. We don't want the house but you can take cash instead.
