Have you personally ever hosted a party?

When was the last time? How did it go? How many people were there?

I had theme parties...Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Cowgirls and Indians....with the appropriate foods and music and décor..15-30 people at a time...it was a blast!

The last one I threw besides a kids birthday party was a Doctor Who themed viewing party for the 50th anniversary special. We had 50+ people and it lasted several hours.

Damn, that was a long time ago.
I need to throw another party.
@Stereoguy it really did. Everyone seemed to love it. We decorated the whole lower level, had trivia and costumes. I made tons of themed food but it was also a potluck, so it was fun seeing what other shows came up with. My teens still have some of the decorations hanging in their rooms.

@Stereoguy I just remembered I’ve cohosted a baby shower and an epic first birthday party at my house since then.

Many times. Largest number of guests was about 50. Friday the 13th party. Designated rooms for specific purposes. Living room and common area was all dancing. Dining room and kitchen was all F&B. Food was always a highlight. Bev’s were always plentiful, creative and ever-flowing. Guest bedroom was converted to “conversation room” where a circle of 30 chairs were available for folks to mingle, catch up and not have to talk loudly or yell over music. In that room was 2 people (one videotaping and the other conducting interviews) recording people having fun and offering messages to the host and other guests. I still have the recording. Fun-ny!

Excellent party. Best by and far.

Big party was probably the kids b-day party (both combined). I'd like to say it was about 10 years ago. We had great weather and maybe 30 people total (at least). Went well, there were games and crafts for the kids, Pabst for the adults. Most of our get-togethers are a lot smaller nowadays.

@Stereoguy Yes, but was maybe 15 years ago, and it was actually a b-day for my wife disguised as an "open house". Went on all day, and there were probably 100 people total. It was crazy fun.

Some themed kids birthday parties. Before kids there were bug NYE parties. I wouldn’t have the inclination nor the energy these days.
small birthday parties with no more then 6 people more my parents wont allow... but at least could stay over night
Yes, several times.

Yes. When I lived in Phoenix I used to throw cocktail and sangria parties. We would usually have about 15-20 people there. This was in 2010.
