If the message is pretty generic or just "hey" I assume they have sent it to everyone with an "F" in their profile.

I usually do. But it's because I'm not looking for anything but connection, friendship.

What you're expecting guys to be spontaneous and creative?

I personally only send one message at a time and then wait a month...If no reply after a month I will send a reminder before moving onto someone else...I think that's a realistic approach?
