In most situations I believe it is better to just go even if you start out self-conscious, nervous and shy about the whole thing. I think it will be more fun to risk it then not.
@Vgore0304 well, you know the environment, I would hate to think anyone would bully you about it and it is harder for me to relate because I have not experienced crap like that.

Not stupid so much as missing an opportunity. It doesn't matter how skinny you are, and the length of your hair shouldn't stop you from doing that braid; it may have to be a shorter braid, but it still counts.

@Vgore0304 I didn't know there was a contest. 15 lbs should be easy. Drink lots of water and cut out junk foods and soda. As for the hair, maybe a wig or hair extensions. You can do it. [image deleted]
