Expound. I for one, would like to hear more about this. What seems to be the problem?

@puck61 Well... so I'm in a new country, learning the language, but just today I was like f*ck it and asked a random student if they could help me learn the language and I got rejected so hard.. I'm lost for words...
😔 what country are you in? Find someone else? @Bearo

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 Germany, I wish I could find someone else, but just one try pushed off wanting to try again
@Bearo Oh. Sorry to hear that. Rejection is a fact of life for most of us. You have to keep trying.
The person you asked probably doesn’t know much anyway. Lol I’ve been to Germany and some can be quite rude. Hopefully you will find someone else. @Bearo

@puck61 yea... just that one mistake can cause more trouble than something good
@Bearo I hope you find a kinder person next time. Is there anything about you that you think might make people take a step back? Sometimes people are afraid of 'animated' or 'overly masculine or feminine' or 'overly friendly' or any number of possible human characteristics, and it puts them on guard and causes them to prejudge.
@Bearo We have to learn to be tough and grow a thick skin. The whole world can be a nasty place to live.
But if he rejected helping you, good. It means he was not the right one to help you. Always keep in mind someone else has a life and that person has things going of which you do not know. Let it go and ask someone else.

@puck61 I'd assume it's my body build that they are scared of, for example a lot of people look at me weirdly like if I was aggressive or whatever and just think that I'm coming at them to hit them.. But besides that the person did say that she thought ill hit her for some unknown reason even tho I never did hit anyone.. So I guess mainly it's just from who I am and people just me by my cover not the inside "don't judge the book by it's cover" ^^

@froggtongue Mm I know what you mean, but maybe some other time, few months later or more, because I don't think I'm in a good place of myself to step forward in any direction
@Bearo Ah, yes. I was on a show as a background extra and some of the other extras were looking like tough guys because that's what the show needed. I too got an initial scare when one of them talked to me. But when I thought about it for a second, I realized that he and I were just there to act a part. I got over my fear really quickly and talked to the man.
People have emotions like fear or love that they can't control. But they can learn to change how they deal with it. And it might help to smile more at people. It lets them know you're not there to be mean.

@froggtongue That's really nice, but sadly not everyone understands that and therefor it's pretty hard to stand out in school as a friendly tough guy... Well one way or another when I'll find a way I might be able to change my life in one way or another..
