Everyone sees me as this insecure little thing

People stop being insecure when they stop giving a damn about what others think or feel. Regardless of what you say or do, some will love you for it, some will admire you, some will hate you, a lot won't give a damn so better give them the right reasons to judge you by being exactly who you are, no more and no less.

If anything, it means youre less insecure. The irony is were insecure about being insecure, but the fact youre not is a good sign, definitely! :)

I would have to say it does, because of this: true we are all insecure to some extent but what you are calling "hiding" is really overcoming not giving into them

Yeah, well I dont think theres a single person who doesnt have those insecurities. Everyone has paranoia to some extent. :)

@LS, my advice to you young lady is to ditch the negative comments people make and hold tightly into the positive comments.
