Is it a sign or just a fluke?

I recently checked my facebook and found someone from my past had "invited" me to get facebook messenger in my inbox, and me and this person did not end on good terms(they were my first love, I'm not expecting to get back with them or something...i just kinda wanna reconnect and i have a feeling maybe they want to reconnect as well.) they haven't actually messaged me or reached out to me, but i noticed that im no longer blocked since i can now actually see their account pop around my feed and page and stuff...(though their not on my friends list anymore...but stuff of them i can see now...) should i ignore it? or should i attempt to reach out? (kinda thinking they might just swat me away and block me again maybe....but idk...
