@NoThankYou turns out the don't ride the alpine slide in the rain is no joke. Ig started raining on the way down and the brakes failed. I had my 6 yr old on my lap and I took the force of the abrupt track end so she wouldn't. She only flew off a few feet face scrape no concussion or neck injuries.

My heel shattered and a bone came through near my ankle but my boot pushed it back in. Had to get a temporary torniqet in the ER but they got the bleeding to stop obviously. A month later this happened. In PT now twice a week and mostly on crutches but I can painfully gimp across the house.
