What do you think about that latest Louis CK news?

I think it is full of shit. He is not an angel, obviously, even very controversial, he has fans and he has "a lot of" haters. And now that haters found a thing to kill him, they are killing him. The girls are trying to be famous. Why they talk now? Right before his movie is coming out in a week?

Also, yes I've read his statement, and I know he admitted it. I don't care. What's he gonna say? "I have called some groupies in my hotel room and tried to f* them but it didn't happen, besides I didn't even touch them, but now they show up after 15 years and say that shit hurt them so much aww.. but actually all they care is fame and now my haters are gonna use it as an immmoral act and kill my 40 year career.." would it be better? lol

To me it is only some groupies trying to earn something from him after 15 years..

[c=#800055]I kind of don't care..
At first I was worried because I really like him as a comedian and I was hoping he wasn't some rapist but after reading about it its not that big of a deal... I mean yea you can't just show your junk to people but these were women he invited back to his hotel room, and the other one just heard him masturbating on the phone if he even was masturbating.
The women who went to his room shouldn't have been surprised though, I sure as hell won't follow a man back to his room, especially a famous one or he'll think you're a groupie. They're used to that. Hopefully it blows over. I'm still watching his movie. [/c]

Have you not seen his statement? He admitted everything.
TheOneWhoEscaped · 26-30, F
"I want to address the stories told to the New York Times by five women named Abby, Rebecca, Dana, Julia who felt able to name themselves and one who did not.
"These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn't a question. It's a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.
"I have been remorseful of my actions. And I've tried to learn from them. And run from them. Now I'm aware of the extent of the impact of my actions. I learned yesterday the extent to which I left these women who admired me feeling badly about themselves and cautious around other men who would never have put them in that position.
"I also took advantage of the fact that I was widely admired in my and their community, which disabled them from sharing their story and brought hardship to them when they tried because people who look up to me didn't want to hear it. I didn't think that I was doing any of that because my position allowed me not to think about it.
"There is nothing about this that I forgive myself for. And I have to reconcile it with who I am. Which is nothing compared to the task I left them with.
"I wish I had reacted to their admiration of me by being a good example to them as a man and given them some guidance as a comedian, including because I admired their work.
"The hardest regret to live with is what you've done to hurt someone else. And I can hardly wrap my head around the scope of hurt I brought on them. I'd be remiss to exclude the hurt that I've brought on people who I work with and have worked with who's professional and personal lives have been impacted by all of this, including projects currently in production: the cast and crew of Better Things, Baskets, The Cops, One Mississippi, and I Love You Daddy. I deeply regret that this has brought negative attention to my manager Dave Becky who only tried to mediate a situation that I caused. I've brought anguish and hardship to the people at FX who have given me so much The Orchard who took a chance on my movie. and every other entity that has bet on me through the years.
"I've brought pain to my family, my friends, my children and their mother.
"I have spent my long and lucky career talking and saying anything I want. I will now step back and take a long time to listen.
"Thank you for reading."

@Highway you mean you're applauding yourself? Bit egotistical, but you seen to be insecure, so...

@Highway @basilfawlty89 You people are both amazing people!
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
He admitted to it.
Look, he is guilty, he did something wrong, he should be held accountable like the rest of us. He doesn't get special treatment for being a famous comedian.
FCNantes · 22-25, M
Even if it is, who cares if it makes for a better world?

Being a celebrity of any kind doesn't give you a free pass to break laws and not be held accountable..

Same Hollywood that was up in arms about trumps “grab em by the pussy” statement.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@MrBrownstone But that doesn't make it any less despicable - we can't use a fallacy based appeal to wipe it under the rug because that's what we've been doing. Wrong is wrong.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@basilfawlty89 I agree
FCNantes · 22-25, M

He committed a personal defeat and while he confessed he backtracked. I liked his comedy. But I probably won't consume his media any more.
SW-User
He might have fucked this one up. Got drunk and whipped his dick out. I still think he is one of the best comedians ever
coolboy86 · 36-40, M

FCNantes · 22-25, M
I heard Japan assaulted Roy Keane that year...
flossy · 41-45, F
These women are acting like they do not have freedom of choice. I have been in similar situations and it is quite easy ... You tell the dude that he is acting like a pig and leave.

There is nothing I hate more than women acting like vulnerable little victims. It's pathetic.
FCNantes · 22-25, M
Not much. Idk.
He admitted to it, so chances are he’s done. Who hated him, anyway ? His material was fairly pro-woman, as I recall.
