@AshaKenyatta I was talking to a friend of mine and same as you she is African American, but has no idea where from in Africa. I think that's one of the saddest legacies of slavery. So many people were stripped of identity and culture and language and all that. Like I know that I am mostly of Irish descent with some English and Scottish. I like knowing that. But most African Americans have no idea beyond some generic idea of a continent. It's sad.
