Do you think Hitler was an evil person or someone who genuinely believed what he said and thought it was right

xSharp · 31-35, M
hitler lived through ww1 which was far more horrific than the second, most of the deaths were from trench foot, sickness and infection, soldiers would start to rot before they had even died and officers would shoot those who fell asleep during their 7 hour guard duty (which was a death sentence to begin with) as well as perceived "cowards" before they could infect the rest of the trench with contagious fear due to having no knowledge of the effects of combat fatigue during those days, even the bravest hardest soldiers start to break down after 60 days of continuous combat, to the point of a falling into a vegetative state. and then theres the rats, dog sized rats gorging themselves on the dead and dying..

there is a story that hitler was with some of his comrades in a trench when he left to take a piss, when he came back he found that a shell had wiped them out and caved in that section of the trench, he survived due to dumb luck, these experiences destroy minds forever. i believe monsters are not born, they are made.

@DonaldTrumpOfficial we sure did.. if they were really so evil i wouldnt doubt it.

fall asleep on guard duty and everyone could be killed in their sleep, fast and dirty. i guess officers thought they needed the motivation of knowing that their lives depended on staying awake.

Terrorist think their acts of terrorism are right and justified. Doesn't change what they do though. You don't need to be some cabbibal hideous monster of a person to be or do evil.

@Kumbayakid the holodomar for starters, it happened at around the same time as the holocaust 1932, in ukraine, stalin starved his own people to death, families were forced to choose which of their children to feed to the rest and people hid stolen limbs in suitcases to avoid being murdered for them..

“Before they died, people often lost their senses and ceased to be human beings.” -unknown author.

12 million people died thanks to communism but went unnoticed.. though i doubt we will ever know the true numbers as they were cannibalizing one another.. so which fate would you prefer?

these were our military allies who carried out these atrocities yet we claimed to be fighting for what was good and right? we were protecting the interests of those who payed us, nothing more..

and dont even get me started on pol pot.. he killed 25% of his own country.

the worst part is that no one even knows about any of this! yet they are all so quick to stand up and tell ME! that im the heartless one? so they can pat themselves on the back and be told they are good people by others just as ignorant as themselves? lmao.. this is why genocides happen, because fools blindly believe what they are told.. and refuse to hear anything else..

how can you hope to learn from history when you do not even remember how it really happened!!

this is what socialism gets you.

The Holodomor was certainly terrible, and arguably genocide. But by recent estimates the death toll was not as great as the holocaust and the mechanism not as vile. But that's hair-splitting. Both were awful.

@Kumbayakid forced to feed my children to one another only to die with no soul? or gas us all at once together as a family that loves one another? easy choice for me.. and woe betide he who tries to force it on me.

recent estimates mean nothing.
He was evil. He wrote of his failed putsch, that the gunfire and blood reminded him of his time in the trenches which were the best days of his life. That is fucking deranged!
@DonaldTrumpOfficial Hitler planned for Nazism to take control of the whole world and the capital of the world to be Berlin

@DonaldTrumpOfficial In his own mind I am sure he did. He believed that killing all those Jews was a good thing. Interesting thing to note is that once a trainload bound for auchwitz passed his train and he didnt have the courage to look them in the eye. There they were in plain sight and he cowered away. So he was at least partially aware that he did the wrong thing!

You're overlooking one important fact here... You can be both!
He was evil and he also believed what he was doing was the right thing for Germany
