Anybody here had/survived respiratory system failure?

Any info could help. I want my little brother to be home again.. I miss him..

My best friend died from it. Too tall. Apparently tall people have lung issues. Oh. Actually. I almost did, too. Forgot about that. They had to intubate me. And lemme tell you. Them yanking a plastic tube out of your throat is fucking painful.

But. Really. You should be asking doctors, not....SW. Only thing you can do is wait, if your lil bro is in the hospital. Trust the doctors and prepare mentally for the worst.

@Tatsumi he's been in ICU for 14 days now. We're moving him to a better hospital hopefully all goes well. He actually has it due to muscular dystrophy, we both have MD.

sorry about your best friend, and I wish you never have to go through this again. I just desperately wanted to find some comfort from SW people like you. Thanks.

My best friend died three times because of it. She's doing well now. All you can do is to wish them good health and make sure they're being treated.
