Politics....

Someone below made a post basically suggesting that political content may not have a place here let me prove you wrong.....number 1 the 1st amendment is there not to protect popular speech but unpopular speech no matter what it is white power BLM conspiracies trump support etc etc.....number 2 things like the 2nd amendment is not there for hunting or fishing since when this was made hunting and fishing was a matter of life or death not being able to eat because you couldn't do one or the other it is there so that you can rise up should the occasion require it to oppose oppressive and tyrannical government like what England was doing to the American colonies......bottom line people with common sense can talk politics ask questions and move on those that try to start a fight on purpose have no place in the discussion that is not free speech it's called being a asshole.

I think he was just trying to get people's opinion, he didn't state how he felt, just asked a question. But I said people should be able to post whatever they want. Politics and religion are discussions that can easily start arguments because of difference of opinion. But it's freedom of speech and sw allows it. So if they don't like it or agree, just move along.

@BurstMe95 exactly, but this is social media, people come from all different walks of life. Every one won't agree on everything. Some people can't handle it. They should leave or ignore it and learn people have different opinions. I don't agree with everything everyone post, but I most likely ignore it cause I don't want to argue with someone online, it won't accomplish anything. At the end we'll still have our different beliefs and that's fine.

@BurstMe95 I'm not confusing the 2 I know the difference. But like I said politics, religion, race. They're all touchy subjects that should be talked about, but unfortunately most of the time when talking about it with someone with a different opinion, people start throwing insults and get mad cause you don't agree with them. I love when I can have an adult conversation with someone about these subjects. Don't always happen that way, especially on social media where you're safe behind a computer screen. I've only been on this site a few days, and when I answered a question about Charlottesville a older woman didn't agree, and decided to call me out my name cause my opinion was different. I don't have time to throw insults so I'm cautious talking about it online, but freedom of speech is real and people can talk about what they want.

Free speech regulations vary depending on the country but, in general, they protect citizens from government control/retaliation only.

Similar worlds is a private entity, free speech laws do not apply. Only management has a say on which topics are allowed.

Only what the SW admin tolerates ... is permissible on SW.

We could never force them to print more ... or even less ... there is no basis ... each member is simply a guest of SW ... with no rights whatsoever ... just priviledges.

That said ... the laws of Maryland, NY or Homeland securiry could push SW out of business ... so, they do influence.
