Another random opinion I want to throw out there

Right, so I don't know if anyone has heard of this, but a kid named Donald De La Haye recently lost his sports scholarship and had to leave school as a result and people are furious. Here's the problem though, people seem to be spinning it like they said he can't have a YouTube channel, when in reality, he wasn't allowed to monetize the content on his channel pertaining to him playing football. I may be seen as a shitbag, but I side against De La Haye in this. It was against the terms for him to monetize his football content on his channel, but he did it anyway, even after getting a warning and being told he can monetize anything else he wants, just not the stuff about him playing football. Then there was him going and saying "I lost my scholarship because I have a YouTube channel, now donate to me so that I can get back to college and not have to deal with the consequences of my actions." If the college had terminated him before giving him a warning, I would be a little more on his side because at the end of the day, terms and conditions type shit are often worded in such a way that people don't understand what it is saying and they don't fully understand what they are signing. Still on the person that signed it, but he should at least get a warning about something like this instead of instant termination. I'm also the kind of person that doesn't believe that people on YouTube are entitled to making money from their channels. I'm perfectly fine with them doing so, but at the end of the day, I don't think they should be pissed off at their fans because their numbers dropped and start begging for money on Patreon or donations on Twitch or other sites.
