Is it safer to wash fiber glass with shower gel or with baby shampoo?

Trying to figure the best way to wash my scooter without damaging the paint.

Dawn dishwashing soap.

Shower gel and baby shampoos both have conditioners, so if you want to cover your paint and wax job with a residue, that's the way to go... otherwise, a gentle cleaner would work. Like dish soap.
@GwydionFrost I thought dishwash soap was more rough on the paint :o but you make sense I'll go back to dishwash soap

Just saying.

I use dish detergent and a microfiber cloth to clean mine. Never had any issues but your mileage may vary.
@SW-User mileage? it's a mobility scooter :)

I'd use whatever a marine dealer recommends for a fiberglass hulled boat, or what Chevrolet recommends for Corvettes.

You don't need to wash insulation, it just goes inside your walls anyway.
@SW-User What insulation which walls :O

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether try finding something by armour all. It works good on cars and bikes and won't fade the paint you can use dishsoap with no problem on fiberglass but overtime your paint will fade. Hope that helps
