Anyone self conscious about how they look? Does it affect your life?

I'm very self conscious and it usually stops me from wearing anything other than t shirts and jeans, but I'm working on myself and starting to think differently.

Yes and yes. In the past I've found it difficult to maintain eye contact with others and have refrained myself from approaching certain people due to my self-consciousness.

Yes for years to many I can admit I drove myself crazy with wanting to look beautiful all the time the older I got the time I spent not counting the money I spent on endless clothes and make up!Don't get me wrong at 72 I still like to look young and beautiful but I love to relax and look just plain me.I can get use to not letting it control me.I just feel I learned late in life I am always going to be me inside myself it doesn't matter as long as I feel beautiful inside myself.l will continue to use make up and look good for as long as I can and yet I now can choose when.

I actually try to hide my body because the attention bothers me. I'm wearing hoodies in 100° weather 😑

I hide myself with hoodies ( it probably really doesn't help but in mind it helps meeeeeee) cause my midsection front n back is chunky. And ruins the rest of me for having a good shape.
I do have good days I feel more confident but there are more days I don't tho. It sucks!

Very I always try to look my best and still I feel like I'm about the worst. Kind of a confidence killer but somedays I feel not so ugly.

I kinda want to keep looking good until I can. Think your body is the temple....
And looking good, healthy, sexy and strong makes me feel good, healthy, sexy and strong. It is a good feeling

i am who i am,i don't care what others have to say about me,i feel comfortable with how i look and i'm happy.

I hope this won't be a lifetime battle for you. Like its seems to be for me

No not at all self conscious - I earn my living because of my looks 🙂
