I Love Shotguns [Pro Gun]

16 years of practical shotgun skills on the farm, and today my gun instructor changed everything. There is a complete difference in training and skills used for combat.

@TexChik yeah I showed up with a short stocked, 18 inch barreled 870. I shot first and his first comment was basically what you said.

Shotguns are wonderful in their simplicity sometimes. I'm a fan of the non-combat versions, the engravings on the really old ones are incredible.

Yup, you cannot lead your target quite as much as they can't run all that fast. Also, birds and squirrels do not shoot back.

@Lickitysplit hitting the target wasn't a problem but apparently my stance and reloading was all wrong.
