Why do people still pay attention to star signs? [Spirituality & Religion]

Are they bored, stupid, or so uninteresting that that's all they can say about themselves, "I'm so and so which make me this personality so I don't need to actually interact with people to establish which traits I have"?

Star signs mean nothing. And even if they were originally correct, which they weren't, the earth has tilted in its axis due to polar shift and made them innacurate

Because it talks about you, people like when others talk about them. If they can find a fitting characteristic it makes it even more enjoyable because it seems genuine.

They are talking about a constellation that exists billions of miles away that has nothing to do with earth, never mind the 70 year lives of a species of animal that have lived here for just a fraction of the earths life or their personalities. There are few things with anything less to do with individuals.
